Hello,

I was watching the local news here in Southeastern Massachusetts, and
our local earthquake monitoring center picked up the earthquake in
Seattle! They showed the chart paper with all the "squiggly" lines on
it, they stated that it was the Seattle area quake. Here in New England,
earthquakes are common, however very minor. In fact they state that
there are as many as several per day...most people disregard them as
passing trucks or heavy equipment. While also watching the news, someone
who is "geologically/plate tectonically gifted" stated that New England
is due for a substantial earthquake that could leave thousands dead,
especially in the Boston area where buildings are very old, and not built
to seismic standards.
Glad everything went well for you Jay.
