A coupla products I think I want to buy... Wondered if others had experience
with them.

How are those Rite in Rain notebooks? Are they the real deal? It'd be nice
to have some of the little ones for field notes while seining. Do they
require a special pen or anything? I just looked at them in the spring
flyer and thought "hmmm..."

Tech-Nu Poison Ivy remover. I've used it before after known exposure and
didn't have a reaction. But that's a huge anecdote to me. I've also washed
off in a stream after known exposure and "successfully" done the same. Are
there people who do upland work more often that've used it successfully?
One of the land stewards at the TNC project swears by the stuff, but as I
pointed out... Poison Ivy ain't exactly a prairie plant since it hates fire
;)

Anyway... Those single packets would be great to throw in the glovebox in
case I'm in a situation where I can't rinse off in a stream. And I can't
use the block in warmer weather because it clogs my pores and I am a
horrible sweat person, so I overheat _fast_. But I don't want to count on
the Tech-Nu if it doesn't work ;)

Thanks!
Todd
