Personally, I don't like UGF's.......but.....if it ain't broke, don't fix it!
If that tank is doing well as is, a change might bring on problems. Keep a
watch on pH. It's a pretty good indicator of how much detritus is
accumulating in the UGF (if the pH is way down).
