Last spring I spawned and raised Dusky darters, green water for about a week got them big enough to eat newly hatched brine shrimp. At 6 weeks they could eat adult frozen brine shrimp. I've got Iowa and Johnny darter fry going right now. The 3rd gen. of my Rainbows have hatched and I'm gathering about 50 least darter egg a day. Good luck with the Blacksides we have them in Michigan but I've never collected them.
