<< To anyone on this list who is interested in joining us for our spring
outing, the Michigan NANFA chapter will be meeting this weekend (May 20) at
Hudson Mills Metropark at 10:00 a.m. Sorry for the late notice >>
If my schedule allows, I may come out for your collecting trip. I would like
to see how things are done. I collected a few very small, actually tiny fish
from the Huron River at Gallup Park in Ann Arbor. After doing so, i realized
it may not have been such a bright thing to do. How can one tell what
species a fish are when they are still very small fry????? The fish fish
are quite long but thin looking, eyes are quite bright golden colored, and
somewhat of a purple'ish sheen on the front of the belly! Any one have any
thoughts?? Thanks, Ted (fishbreedr_at_aol.com)
