Does anyone know what the official party line is about populating a pond,
lake or stream these days? Does any government agency support the restocking of
fish other than game fish? Is there any official sources of native fish other
than game fish? If there were sources would they be used? Influencing the
restocking of non game fish is something NANFA should get involved in. Is there
anyway NANFA could influence this type of policy and if so where should it be
started? If non game fish were bred for restocking purposes would we get into the
whole fish from one stream shouldn't be introduced into another stream even
if they are the same species deal? How important is this concept?
