I looked up "Xanthic" in Webster and it said "yellow or yellowish" in
coloration. But my Hets. are coal black!
Dick Stober (of Nanfa fame) encouraged me to pursue this strain
several years ago.
Speaking of Dick Stober...he used to run the coolest "mom and pop"
fish store many years ago here in Mobile. I was a young teenager,
and would walk over there just to look around, perhaps buy a few fish.
Thats where I saw my first ever live Heterandria formosa.
But alas, sadly, those days of local FANTASTIC fish stores are long gone.
