Sounds like an upper respitory infection. They are very common in
terrestrial turltes and tortoises. They need to see a COMPETANT REPTILE
vet ASAP. Did you buy these at a pet store...or as I call them little
houses of death? Pet do not know and do not care!

Box turtles are not an easy species to keep, particularly for the novice
herp/turtle person. Also almost all box trutles sold in the pet trade are
wild caught. Populations are in serious decline because of this coupled
with habitat loss.
