I catch silver chubs here often, are they similar to the big eye? More of a
stream fish, I usually find them right under where water spills over
something into knee deep water. I also catch them in schools of other
minnows in open current areas.

These the stonerollers from your pond? That would be cool to get them to
spawn in there. Then you would have a whole army of algae eaters.
