There are two types around here--a salt water variety and an acid water version. This slide show has info about their range:

I have tried a couple of time to keep Ghost Shrimp and they just disappear.
I have a couple of dozen in a planted 20 with that has green hair algae in
it. I would like to raise the buggers and eventually get them established
as part of my 120 gallon community tank I am going to set up. Assuming I
don't keep anything that will eat them.

Any suggestions on keeping them alive?
Where do you find ghost shrimp in the wild? Are they found in Indiana?
