It is moderate hardness -- about 120 ppm, but it is softer with every day
regular changes than when I used to neglect them for weeks. It could be a
combination of stresses -- low salt/hardness plus poor quality water was too much.
Now I have reduced the waste products and they only have the low salt to cope
with.
