I assume you are talking about "constructed wetlands," maybe built for
so called "mitigation" when natural resources are destroyed. Off the
top of my head, I wonder, "are real wetlands aerated?" Well, those
with "flow through," as a part of a riparian system surely are. Low DO
is a real problem in natural wetlands that are cut off from their
normal water sources and that are polluted, like Caddo Lake in Texas
and the gigantic Atchafalya Basin in Louisiana.
