Well. Try teaching, which in Oklahoma goes for $22K starting. Ph.D.
graduates in biology often get mid-thirties for a post-doc over much
of the country, sometimes with benefits deducted from the pay rather
than provided.

Want to get rich? Don't try biology as a career,-in-least not
zoology, conservation .... .
