im glad your trying it.
2' visibilty is about the minimum acceptable. at that point is is best to
stay in the shallows on a bright day. dont move a lot. gently turn rocks.
sometimes if you want to cover a lot of ground you just scare everything and
muck it up. sometimes its best just to lay there and look.
as for water temp... 60 is my lower limit, 70 is ok 80 is bliss... no wet
suit required. get a used wetsuit, or shorty and a hood or beanie. look for
clear water. from the bank you will see 5 fish... in the water you see a
hundred.
