Yeah I am liking the crappies very much, I have had them for a while now and
I am just upgrading them to a new 55 gallon setup. I really like the way
they get right up beside a shiner and gulp it down in a split second. Mine
are also starting to eat cichlid pellets, and freeze dried plankton.

You must try and get some beaver wood, its very cool stuff. When I get the
crappie tank setup I will post some pics of it. I also have a nice looking
rockbass tank that I will post. Its got a big rockwall like people make for
their African Cichlids. The tank simulates a small rocky pool. I also have a
nice 8" creek chub, and a 6" hornyhead chub in with them. When non fish
people come over they all seem to think the creek chub is some kind of
trout.
