Thanks, Chris (and thanks for the bonus "thing" :-)

I am more inclined to think that it's either not getting enough
food or it has internal parasites. Let me see what I can do
with sinking food, a plastic tank divider and if that doesn't help,
then a sea-water bath to evict any internal parasites.

(no room or family approval or spare time for another tank :)
