Not much, but I do have a small colony going I got from Joe Gardner. I
had my greatest success in breeding them by putting a trio on a 110 gallon
vat with some water hyacinth and a few other misc. plants. I left them to
their own devices in a semi-shady location for 2 1/2 months and when I
emptied the vat for winter I found the 3 adults in good shape and
approximately 30 fry 1/4 to 1/2 inch long. And these will be the basis
for my colony next year.
