I know exactly what you are talking about. This stuff is meant to be easily
wiped down. If it is 100% safe for food stores I'm guessing it will be
perfectly safe for the fish. You idea is great and seeing a tank with that
would be cool. The back of it which you would glue to the tank in completely
smooth. So a little silicone and you're in business.

I own a local construction business and we've worked with this stuff many
times. It's just plastic and it is 100% safe for humans. I've seen places
use this as their floor under the cutting tables. It gives a non slip
surface and is easily cleaned.
