Rob D,

I have observed Noturus gyrinus resting in odd positions, kind of off
kilter and looking like they are dead. I think they just like to relax
that way when they are not foraging or otherwise active. A tap on the tank
usually brings them back to life instantly. Can you get a photo of your
"leucistic" fish? I would guess that it is likely ill or under some other
kind of stress.
