This was the second NANFA Convention that I have attended. I really
enjoyed the colecting and the speakers. It was nice to see old friends
and make some new ones. The collecting trip was great and naturally I
brought back more fish than i had planned on (not a bad thing mind you).
The Cyprinodon variegatus are actually starting to get into breeding
colors. One male has actually picked his territory and defending it
against all comers. The rest of the fish are all doing fine also. My
son, Shawn, was kind of disappointed that we didn't see any alligators
at the one collecting site. I was glad we didn't us northern folks
aren't use to overgrown lizards looking-in-us as a side dish for supper.
:-) Thanks again for the great convention and I am looking forward to
next year. I know someone has already suggested it but have you thought
about doing it again next year? Just thinking out loud.

Sincerely,
Bill Flowers & family
