It is relevant, wether we want to think about it or not. Here in the
Great Lakes region, we watch as Fragmites, Purple Losestrife, and Glossy
Buckthorn suck up all the final remaining wetlands that serve as the
final buffer zones/riparian zones for the lakes. And as well, they
destroy that habitat for any native fish who lives in those areas. No
water, no swimmin.
