It was so nice here last saturday, the temperature
reached 69 F, so I thought I would see if I am up to
collecting. I headed north, big mistake. Up near
Xenia, Spring Valley Lake was still covered in snow
and ice, as was the driveway and parking lot and
woods. Williamson's Fork had so much water it was
flooding the forest and cornfields and the middle was
a turbulent mass, way too treacherous to collect.
Everywhere I went it was the same, muddy flooded
streams with no hope of collecting. So I was content
to just enjoy the sunshine and the warm weather. I
didn answer my question partly....I was able to drive
a significant way comfortably.
