Hello list goers,

We are in the process of holding our first MA/New England NANFA regional
meeting. We (Rick Rego (MA NANFA Rep) and Brian Bastarache (MA NANFA
member) have been laying out the plans, and have a tentative date in
January of 2001. We figured we would let the holidays pass on by, and
start it out in January.
The reason I am writing is to request any info/ideas that other regions
(regional rep's) have done for their first few meetings. We plan on
holding meetings on a monthly basis, with most of the spring/summer
meetings simply being collecting trips. We plan on speakers, videos, etc
for each monthly meeting. Has anything great worked at your regional
meetings?
I have already contacted Chris Scharpf, who will be sending me some AC
back issues and updated mailing lists for the MA/New England region, as
well as applications for membership for those people who attend, but are
not yet NANFA members. Once everything is set in stone, we will have the
info posted on NANFA.org, and will also post it to the list.
Any and all ideas would be greatly appreciated, Thank You!
