If you ever get the chance to check out gar teeth up close this is neat. All
the gar but alligator have very sharp needle like teeth. The gators larger
canines have an arrowhead point on them! I never noticed this until I found
a jaw bone from one near Lake Ponchatrain. It looks like the damage these
teeth could cause flesh would be quite substantial. Maybe I should see if I
could scan the jaw bone and put it on my web site for everyeone to see.
Doubt it would work though.
