Many kinds of leaves will work. I prefer white oak for a couple reasons.
First is they are "sweet" , where red oaks are "sour". That gives the water
a different quality I can probably just explain no other way than why some
would drink Coke instead of Pepsi. I think it is more like the difference
between diet caffiene free Coke and regular Coke, but have nothing to really
back that up. White oak leaves are also thicker with more "meat".
