Gars of various species are very popular in Japan. I dread the day when we
hear in the news that they have been introduced into local waters. Currently
we have a list of feral exotic fish that includes smallmouth and largemouth
bass, piranha, sunfish, channel cats on down to mollies, platies and
guppies.
