jim graham helped me w/ some of this and i have revised it from plaquing my
neighbors...
ive taken to putting fresh grass clippings in a short length of panty hose.
this seems to really attract the mosquitos as opposed to regular water.
i then submerge it into a large open jug w/ a spigot attached. ( i got one of
these 2 gallon jugs from a commercial printer... it held cleaning fluid...iso
alcohol. )
each weekend i swirl the water about the container, squeeze out and remove
the stuffed panty hose ( sometimes i add new clippings to the panty hose ) and
drain the green mosquito larved water through a fine mesh net.
i then return the filtered green water to the container.
so far this works pretty good for me. lots of squirmies.
the 7 day exchange seems about right
i also harvest worms from my compost pile. rinse and chop.
