I think we can all agree that the best thing is not to have a habitat so
altered that none of these things exist in it anymore. Smaller bodies of
water can easily be cleaned up by volutneers. Trouts unlimited has done
many stream resortations. Ducks unlimited has promoted marsh restortation.
All done by individuals. A big project may require government, but these
smaller things should be handled privately. Volunteers are free, big
government isn't.

Maybe we could be like China and have the government force us to stop
haveing more than one child?? Government is intruding into our lives
more and more. The environment is still in trouble. Big government isn't
the answer. People have to do for themselves, and lot of people are doing
there part. Just look at chernobyl and see what a giant oppresive
government can do , nobody cares when they are not actually part of the
country anymore. this should be on another list, I have to get back to my
swamp =).
