It is without a doubt that these fish are here to stay. i captured a handful of gobies and placed them in my aquaria in an attempt to study there behaviour. I will be interning with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife this coming summer under the supervision of Mike Goehle running surverys across NY, PA and OH for invasives, along with stomach contect analyisis. By obtaining as much information as possible on these creatures there is hope to getting them out of our lakes and increaseing native populations but extensive public education is needed to stop the spread of these fish.
